Restart Buddy
If your Buddy isn't working well, you may be asked by a Skylight Customer Service representative to restart your Buddy.
Restarting Buddy will not remove or change any of Buddy's current configuration.
Restart Buddy:
- Press and hold the power button.
- Hold the power button until the Restart Buddy? dialog appears.
- Tap Restart.
Reset Buddy
In some cases, you may want to reset your Buddy.
For example: if you wish to associate Buddy with a different Profile, you will need to reset Buddy, reactivate Buddy, and associate the reset Buddy with the new Profile.
Resetting your Buddy will restore it to factory state. You will need to reactivate and reconfigure Buddy after a reset.
Reset Buddy:
- Press and hold the power button.
- Continue holding the power button when the the Restart Buddy? dialog appears.
- Hold the power button until the Factory reset dialog appears.
- Tap Reset.
