Like with many digital calendars, you can set reminders for events on your Skylight. You can set calendar-level reminders and/or event-level reminders. In this article, you can find everything you need to know about Skylight Calendar reminders!
Setting Reminders
- You can set calendar-level reminders that apply to all events. You can find a step-by-step guide here.
- You can set event-level reminders that apply to a specific event and overrides a calendar-level reminder. You can find a step-by-step guide here.
- For both calendar-level and event-level reminders, you can:
- Toggle reminders at the time of your event
- Toggle reminders X minutes before your event
- You can decide the X in 5 minutes intervals (i.e. 5, 10, 15 minutes before an event)
- Toggle a reminder alert on your Skylight Calendar
- You can't customize these yet, but we are going to add more offerings in a future release!
Reminder Notifications
- Reminders show up on your Skylight Calendar's screen as a pop-up.
- The pop-up will have up to 3 reminders. If there are more than 3, you can scroll up and down to see the rest.
- The reminder will display the start and end time of your event
- You can see the total # of reminders in the lower right-hand corner of the pop-up
- You can view the event's details by tapping on the reminder itself
Clearing Reminders
- You can clear all reminders by selecting "Got it" at the bottom of the pop-up
- You can clear individual reminders by swiping on the reminder to the right
