You can create events on your Skylight Calendar and have them reflect on your Google Calendar with Two-Way Sync.
Enabling Two-Way Sync
To enable Two-Way Sync, you’ll first need to sync your Google Calendar with your Skylight Calendar. Learn more about how to do that here.
If you’ve already synced your Google Calendar and would like to enable Two-Way Sync, we recommend first deleting the calendar before attempting to sync it again. All of your existing Google Calendar events will be imported when you re-sync, so there’s no risk of losing those events.
While syncing your Google Calendar, you’ll need to select Two-Way Sync during set up or newly created events will not appear on your Google Calendar.
If you have explicitly set up customized colors for your calendars in Google Calendar, those customized calendar colors will be imported into Skylight. The calendar events will be automatically added to a Profile named after the imported color in hex notation (for example, #ab58e4).
You can leave the imported calendar events in the imported profile, or you can merge the events with an existing profile.
Creating Events
After enabling Two-Way Sync for your Google calendar account, you’ll see the Synced Calendars section when creating events on both your Skylight Calendar and on the Skylight app. You can use this section to select which Calendar you’d like your event to sync with.
When creating events, you must choose the relevant Synced Calendar in order for the event to appear on your Google calendar after creation.
Any changes you make to these events in-app, on device, or on your Google Calendar will be in sync.
