Manage Your Photos

You can manage your photos associated with your Frame using the Skylight Mobile App:

• Create and manage Albums to organize your photos.
• Manage individual photos.
• Copy or delete multiple photos.
• Invite family and friends to help manage the Frame.
• Run a photo slideshow on your phone.

Manage Photo Albums

Tap Albums to view the Albums screen.

Add a New Album

Add new albums to organize your photos. 

1. Tap New Album.
2. Type the name for the new album in the Album name textbox.
3. Tap Save.

Add Photos to An Album

1. Tap an album.
2. Tap the add button.
3. Select one or more photos from the gallery.
   Selected photos will dim slightly, and show a blue check in the corner.
4. Tap Add to Album.

Remove Photos From An Album

1. Tap an album.
2. Tap Select.
3. Select one or more photos from the gallery.
   Selected photos will dim slightly, and show a blue check in the corner.
4. Tap Remove from album.
   The selected photos will not be deleted.

Delete Photos In An Album

1. Tap an album.
2. Tap Select.
3. Select one or more photos from the gallery.
   Selected photos will dim slightly, and show a blue check in the corner.
4. Tap Delete.
5. Tap OK to confirm.

This action will remove the photo from the album, and delete it from all of your devices.

Play the Album As a Slideshow

1. Tap Slideshow.
2. Choose if you want the slideshow to play in the Skylight Mobile App, or on your Frame.

Rename the Album

1. Tap Rename.
2. Type the new name in the textbox.
3. Tap Save.

Delete the Album

1. Tap Delete.
2. Tap Delete to confirm.

Deleting an album will not remove any of the photos in that album. All of the photos that were in the deleted album will remain on the device.

Manage Individual Photos 

Tap any photo in the gallery to get a larger view of the photo and a menu of options.

For each photo in the gallery, you can:

• Like and unlike the photo.
• Edit the photo’s caption.
• Share the photo.
• Download the photo.
• Delete the photo.
• Manage photo comments.

Like and Unlike a Photo

When viewing a photo, tap the Like button to like or unlike the photo.

Edit the Photo’s Caption

1. Tap the Caption button to open the Caption screen.
2. On the Caption screen, tap the Add a caption textbox and type in a caption.
   You are limited to 50 characters per caption.
3. Tap Save.

The caption will appear in a black bar at the bottom edge of the photo.

Editing the caption and removing all of the text will remove the caption bar entirely.

Share the Photo

Tap Share to bring up a share sheet for sharing the photo.

Download the Photo

Tap Download to download the photo to the Skylight album in your photos app.

Delete the Photo

1. Tap Delete.
2. Tap Delete to confirm.

Photo Comments

Add comments to the photo:

1. Tap the Add a comment textbox.
   The textbox is below the photo. You may need to swipe past the photo to see the textbox.
2. Type your comment into the textbox.
3. Tap Save.

Photo comments are displayed below the photo.

Tap and hold a comment to delete it.

Delete Multiple Photos

1. Tap Select.
2. Select one or more photos from the gallery.
   Selected photos will dim slightly, and show a blue check in the corner.
3. Tap Delete.
4. Tap OK to confirm.

Copy Multiple Photos to Another Device

1. Tap Select.
2. Select one or more photos from the gallery.
   Selected photos will dim slightly, and show a blue check in the corner.
3. Tap Copy to.
4. On the Copy assets screen, choose which devices will get copies of the selected photos.
   Choose one or more devices.
5. Tap Copy Assets.

Invite Family and Friends

If you want to share your calendar device with family and friends, you can invite them to join your calendar with a link.

To generate a sharing link:

1. Tap Invite Others.
2. Tap Invite.
3. Use the share sheet to share the invite link.

Anyone who uses the invite link will be able to view and manage all of the information on your Calendar device.

Photo Slideshow

Tap Slideshow to start a photo slideshow on your device.

To stop the slideshow, tap the screen, and then tap the X in the upper left corner.
