Use Per-Event Invitations to Add Others to Skylight Events

If you have an event on your Skylight Calendar and you want to include someone in that event that is not a member of your household, you can invite them to your event with their email address.

You can use this feature to:

  • Place Skylight events on your work calendar.
  • Invite people only to specific events in your Skylight calendar.

Invite to a New Event

Invite someone to a new Skylight Calendar event with either the Skylight Mobile App or the Skylight Desktop App:

  1. Select Calendar.
  2. Select the add event button.
  3. Fill in the event details as needed.
    For more about creating events, please see <<creating events>>.
  4. Select Invited emails.
  5. In the Type an email to invite textbox, start typing an email address.
    The list under the textbox will show matching email addresses from your contacts prior invitees.
    Type a full email address to add it to the selection list.
  6. Select one or more email addresses from the list. 
  7. Tap Add.

Event invitations will be sent to the specified addresses.

Invite to an Existing Event

Invite someone to a new Skylight Calendar event with either the Skylight Mobile App or the Skylight Desktop App:

  1. Select Calendar.
  2. Select an existing event.
  3. Select Invited emails.
  4. In the Type an email to invite textbox, start typing an email address.
    The list under the textbox will show matching email addresses from your contacts prior invitees.
    Type a full email address to add it to the selection list.
  5. Select one or more email addresses from the list. 
  6. Tap Add.

Event invitations will be sent to the specified addresses.
