  • Updated

Parental Lock helps parents control what their kids have access to on Skylight Calendar, preserving Calendar as the source of truth for events and tasks.

Overview:

  • Users can set a 4 digit PIN to restrict access to adding events/chores and/or modifying events/chores. This PIN is unique to the device. Parental Lock is on the device only. This is not an in app feature.
  • Users can choose how many minutes of inactivity until asked for the PIN again
  • Enter the PIN to add or modify chores/events, or disable the parental lock
  • If a user forgets their PIN, they can send an email with a magic link. Clicking this link resets the PIN.
