Skylight Calendar has a sleep mode, which disables the screen. Enabling sleep mode lowers the power consumption of the Calendar, and can be useful for times and places when the light from the calendar display could be distracting or otherwise unwanted.
Setting a Sleep Mode Schedule
Your Skylight Calendar can be set to automatically enter sleep mode and wake from sleep mode at specific times.
Set a sleep mode schedule:
- Tap Sleep in the navigation bar.
- Tap the Sleep Mode Schedule toggle to enable scheduled sleep mode.
- Tap the time under From to choose when the Calendar will go to sleep.
- Tap the time under To to choose when the Calendar will wake up.
Entering Sleep Mode Manually
You can manually enable sleep mode at any time.
Manually enter sleep mode:
- Tap Sleep in the navigation bar.
- Tap Enter Sleep Mode Now in the Sleep Mode popup.
Manually enabling sleep mode is useful any time you do not want the Calendar’s screen to be a distraction. For example, this might be useful if you are watching a movie in the same room as the Calendar.
Waking From Sleep Mode
You can wake from sleep mode at any time.
Tap the screen to bring your Skylight Calendar out of sleep mode. The screen should immediately turn on.
If the screen does not immediately turn on, check to make sure that the power cable is firmly connected to the device, and the power adapter is securely plugged into an outlet.
