Rotate Photos in Skylight Frame

  • Updated

There are two ways that images can be rotated in your Skylight Frame:

  • Images automatically rotate when you change the orientation of your Frame.
This feature is only available on some versions of the Frame.
  • Images can be individually rotated independently of the orientation of your Frame.

Automatic Image Rotation

Automatic image rotation keeps your photos upright when you change the orientation of your Frame:

The autorotation feature is only available with Skylight Frames purchased in 2022 or later. If you purchased your Frame before 2022, your pictures will not automatically adjust to the orientation of your Frame.

Rotating Individual Photos

Sometimes, a photo may be shown with the incorrect orientation:

If this happens, you can manually rotate the photo.

Rotate a photo:

  1. Select a photo.
Swipe left or right to select the photo you want to rotate. You can only rotate the currently visible photo.
  2. Tap the screen.
The menu Bar will appear along the top edge of the screen.
  3. Tap Rotate.
Each time you tap Rotate, the photo will be rotated by a quarter turn.
  4. Tap Rotate until the photo is in the correct orientation.

The manual rotation of any photo is specific to each Frame.
