Frame Device Settings

You can adjust the settings on your Skylight Frame with the Skylight Mobile App.

This feature is only available with Frame Plus subscription. If you wish to upgrade to Skylight Plus, please see https://www.myskylight.com/products/skylight-plus/

  1. Use the device menu to go to the home screen of the Frame you want to manage.
  2. Tap Device.

On the Remote Settings screen, make adjustments to the settings of your Frame.

Device Nickname

Edit your Frame's nickname:

  1. Tap the Device Nickname textbox.
  2. Update the nickname for your Frame.

Household Email

The household email attached to this Frame is shown under Household Email.

Sleep Mode

Tap Sleep Mode to see the sleep mode settings.

Tap the toggle switch next to Sleep Mode Schedule to enable or disable times when your Frame will wake up and go to sleep every day.

If a sleep schedule is enabled, enter the wake up and sleep times in the From and To textboxes.

Tap Enter Sleep Mode Now to immediately put your Frame to sleep. You can reawaken your Frame by tapping on the screen.

Display 

Tap Display to see the display settings.

Brightness

Adjust the brightness of your Frame with the slider.
Brightness can be adjusted from zero to 100%.

Videos

Tap Start videos with sound on to enable or disable sound when playing videos.

Blur Background

Tap Blur background to enable or disable the background blur effect when showing a picture that does not naturally fit the shape of the Frame. When disabled, pictures will be shown on a black background.

Show Heart Icon

Tap Show heart icon to show or hide the heart icon on the Frame.

Use the heart icon to favorite a photo, and let the sender know.

Slideshow

Tap Slideshow to see the slideshow settings.

Adjust the slideshow speed with the slider.
The slide show speed can be adjusted to an interval of 5 seconds to four minutes between pictures.

Under Slideshow Style, choose the display order of your pictures: in chronological order (oldest first) or random order.

Under Show vertical photos, Choose if you want your frame to show you two pictures at once when possible.
