Synced Calendars

You can manage your synced calendars with the Skylight Mobile App:

• See a list of currently synced calendars.
• Sync a calendar to your Skylight Account from the calendars already synced on your phone.
• Sync a new calendar to your Skylight Account.
• Remove synced calendars from your Skylight Account.

Viewing Your Synced Calendars

Tap Synced Calendars to view your synced calendars with the Synced calendars screen. 

The top portion of the Synced calendars screen displays a list of all of the calendars that have been synced from external calendar providers to your Skylight Account. If any of the calendars share a name, the external calendar provider will also be displayed to tell them apart.

Beneath the list of synced calendars is a list of calendars that are synced with your phone, but not synced with your Skylight Account. 

At the bottom of the screen, there is a button to sync a new calendar.

Sync a Calendar from Calendars On Your Phone

To add a calendar on your phone  to your Skylight Account as a synced calendar:

1. Tap Synced Calendars.
2. Swipe to see the list of calendars under Calendars on your phone.
3. Tap the name of the calendar you want to sync to your Skylight Account.
   The calendar list is sorted by the number of events in the current month. Calendars are listed by name (either calendar name or account name), and display an icon to indicate the calendar provider.
4. Follow the instructions to sync a new calendar (see What does Skylight Calendar sync with?).

Sync a New Calendar to Your Skylight Account

1. Tap Synced Calendars.
2. Tap Sync new calendar.
3. Choose the calendar provider, and follow the instructions to sync a new calendar (see <<LINK: syncing new calendars>>

Edit a Synced Calendar

1. Tap Synced Calendars.
2. Tap the name of the calendar you want to edit.
3. Tap the Name textbox to edit the name used for the synced calendar in your Skylight Account.
4. Tap Link profiles to add or remove associations between this synced calendar and Profiles in your Skylight Account.
5. Tap Save.

Remove a Synced Calendar From Your Skylight Account

1. Tap Synced Calendars.
2. Tap the name of the calendar you want to remove.
3. Tap Delete.
4. Tap Delete to confirm.

Tapping Delete will remove the sync connection between the remote calendar provider and your Skylight Account. It will not delete the remote calendar.
