If you want the same setup on two or more Skylight Calendars, you can link them together to mirror their content. Changes made to any linked Calendar will be honored by the other linked calendars. This is useful if you want the same information to be available in two places in your home: for example, a Calendar in the kitchen where the family gathers, and the same setup mirrored on another calendar in an upstairs hallway for easy access.
Link Two Calendars to Share a Configuration
If you have more than one Skylight Calendar, you can link them together. When you link Calendars, they will all share the same information. When you make changes on one device, linked devices will update automatically.
This includes all your Calendar: events, chores, lists, meals, and more. You cannot link only some of the data. All of the data will be on all of the linked Calendars.
Calendar Linking is helpful if you have multiple devices in the same household, or you have multiple frames that you want to be in sync, anywhere in the world.
Only Devices of the Same Type Can be Linked
Skylight Calendars can link with other Skylight Calendars, and Skylight Frames can link with other Skylight Frames.
Skylight Calendars cannot link with Skylight Frames.
Linking Skylight Calendars in Different Time Zones
It is highly recommended to keep all linked Calendars in the same time zone.
Linked devices can have different timezones, but linked calendars will not adjust the time for events created in another timezone. For example, Calendar A is in Richmond, Virginia (Eastern Time Zone) and Calendar B is in Santa Fe, New Mexico (Mountain Time Zone), a difference of two hours. If a new event is created on Calendar A at Noon, the event will also appear in Calendar B at Noon, and will not be adjusted to 10am due to the timezone difference.
To avoid confusion, only link Calendars in the same time zone.
Limits on Linking Multiple Devices
There is no limit on how many devices can be linked together.
