Requirements
To link multiple Skylight calendars, you must:
- Have at least two Skylight Calendars
- One of the Calendar devices must be activated
These instructions will link Calendar devices to the activated device. Configuration and data from the activated device will be shared with the linked devices.
Linking A New Calendar to an Activated Calendar
Link a new Calendar to an activated Calendar:
- Open the Skylight App.
You can use either the Skylight Mobile App or the Skylight Desktop App. - Select the My Skylight Menu button.
- Select App Settings.
- Select Linked devices.
- Select the Add button.
Tapping the Add button will open the New Linked Device screen. At the top of the New Linked Device screen, the name of the Calendar this device will be linked to is shown in bold - In the Name field, add a descriptive name to identify the linked device.
Name the calendar something that works best for you; by location ("Upstairs”), by primary user (“Ellen”), or whatever makes the most sense in your home. You can change the name later if you need to. - Select Next.
- Choose if you want to link a Calendar that has been activated or has not been activated.
Link to an Unactivated Calendar
If the calendar you want to link has not been activated:
- Select Not activated at the top of the Activate device panel.
- Power on the new Calendar.
- Connect the new Calendar to Wi-Fi.
- Note the provided activation code in the Mobile App.
The activation code will only be valid for one day. - Enter the activation code into the new Calendar.
- Select Done.
If you wish to share the activation code with yourself or others, tap Share activation code to bring up the Share menu on your Android phone or Apple iPhone.
Link to an Activated Calendar
If the calendar you want to link has already been activated:
- Select Activated at the top of the Activate device panel.
- On the Calendar device, tap Settings.
- Select Reset device.
You may need to scroll the settings to the bottom to see the reset device button. - Select Reset.
- Select Reset.
- Select Continue.
Wait for the Calendar to restart. - Connect the new Calendar to Wi-Fi.
- Note the provided activation code in the Mobile App.
The activation code will only be valid for one day. - Enter the activation code into the new Calendar.
- Select Done.
If you wish to share the activation code with yourself or others, tap Share activation code to bring up the Share menu on your Android phone or Apple iPhone.
