With Activity Planner, you can ask Sidekick to suggest things to do. Give it a date, a time, and a brief description of what you might like to try, and Sidekick will search for activities near you: a sporting event, or a concert,or maybe just a quiet walk in a park.

Plan a New Activity
Plan a new activity as an event, or from the Sidekick menu.
Plan a New Activity as an Event
When creating a new event<<Link: SMA create an event>>, you have the option of using the Activity Planner from the Sidekick menu:
Tap the Activity button to get started.
Start a New Activity From the Sidekick Tile
To start planning an activity from the Sidekick Tile:
- In the homescreen, tap Sidekick.
Make sure you are adding an event to the correct calendar. - Tap Activity Planner.
Choose the Activity Type
Choose a Local Event if you are looking for a structured activity with a specific focus.
Choose a Family Activity if you want to find a more open-ended activity that gives your family a chance to relax and explore in your own time.
Add Activity Details
When adding a planned activity, Sidekick will ask you for some information about what kind of event you’d like to attend:
- Location
- Date Range
- Who is Attending
- Maximum Budget (optional)
- Vibe (optional)
Location
Use the In which area? textbox to set the location of where you want to look for activities:
- Tap the In which area? Textbox.
- On the Location screen, start typing an address into the Enter a location textbox.
You can use a complete or partial address. - Select a location from the list.
Date Range
Under When would you like to do this activity? use the date and time pickers to choose when you want to attend the activity:
To set the start of when you want to find an activity, tap Starts to select a day and From to select a time.
To set the end of when you want to find an activity, tap Ends to select a day and Until to select a time.
Who is Attending
Select one or more Profiles to attend the activity.
You must select at least one profile.
Maximum Budget
Set the maximum budget for the event with the budget picker:
You can only select one option for maximum budget.
Vibe
Use the What vibe are you looking for? textbox to add any notes, requirements, or requests for the activity details.
Start the Search
When you are done adding details, tap Search Activity.
Selecting Activities
When the search is complete, you will be presented with up to four options.
Tap any event to view and check the event details.
If you you are interested in a particular event, you can toggle its selection by tapping the blue checkbox:
When you have selected the events you want to add to your Calendar, tap Add to Calendar.
If you have deselected all the events, tap Cancel Import.
Once the events have been added to your Calendar, you can edit them as any other event: Mobile App Calendar Events
