With Habit Tracker, Skylight can help you and your family build healthy habits together.
With habit tracking turned on for individual routines, Skylight can keep track of how many days in a row you have accomplished that Routine. If you need to take a break, that’s okay: with Skylight’s Skip Tasks feature, you can skip a day or two without breaking your streak.
Habit tracking works together with the Tasks Week View to give you the full picture of your progress.
Tracking Streaks
For any Routine with habit tracking enabled, a badge with a lightning bolt will appear next to the task name:
As you complete the task each day, the streak will increase:
If you use the Skip Tasks feature to skip one or more days, the counter won’t advance, but the streak will stay intact.
Streak Celebrations
For extended streaks, Skylight will show a celebration message:
A week with the routine completed on every day earns an Amazing Week celebration. Missing a day during the week (for routines that happen at least three times) will earn a Strong Week celebration.
These are celebrations of effort, not perfection: this feature is meant to help you and your family work together to build better habits.
