Can I activate my frame using the mobile app?

To set up your account for the first time using the mobile app, follow these steps:

1. Download the Skylight app from the Apple or Google Play store. To find it, look for "Skylight" and download the app with our logo (below).
   
2. Enter your personal email address then tap 'Next Step'.
   
   
3. Type in your name and phone number, and create a password. Then click 'Create account'
   
   
4. Next, click on the 'Add Device' button (represented by a + icon).
   
5. Select 'Photo Frame'.
   
   
6. Select 'Yes' if you are activating a new Skylight.
   
   
7. Choose 'Who it is for'. If it's for yourself, select 'It's for me'.
8. If you are activating a new frame, create your unique Skylight email address. Every Skylight email has the format [e-mail] (e.g., [e-mail]). Make sure there are no typos!
   
   
   
9. To link your Skylight Plus subscription, scroll down then tap “I Already Purchased Plus” or tap “No, thanks” to skip this step.
   
   
10. Select your privacy preferences. If you choose your frame to be Private, you can approve a list of friends and family who can send photos to your Skylight.
    
    
11. Next, invite your loved ones to send a photo to your Skylight by tapping the 'Copy Link to Share' button. This will display your messaging platforms. You can also choose to skip this step.
    
12. After that, you're all set. Simply turn on your device, connect to Wi-Fi, and enter the activation code that will be provided to you.
    
    

* Please note that the activation code is only valid for 24 hours. If your code has expired, you can easily obtain a new one by returning to the app (see below).

1. Tap your device or Skylight email address.
   
2. Next, tap 'Activate Device', and you will receive a new activation code.
