To set up your account for the first time using the mobile app, follow these steps:
- Download the Skylight app from the Apple or Google Play store. To find it, look for "Skylight" and download the app with our logo (below).
- Enter your personal email address then tap 'Next Step'.
- Type in your name and phone number, and create a password. Then click 'Create account'

Next, click on the 'Add Device' button (represented by a + icon).
- Select 'Photo Frame'.
- Select 'Yes' if you are activating a new Skylight.

Choose 'Who it is for'. If it's for yourself, select 'It's for me'.

If you are activating a new frame, create your unique Skylight email address. Every Skylight email has the format ___________@ourskylight.com (e.g., grandmabetty@ourskylight.com). Make sure there are no typos!
- To link your Skylight Plus subscription, scroll down then tap “I Already Purchased Plus” or tap “No, thanks” to skip this step.
- Select your privacy preferences. If you choose your frame to be Private, you can approve a list of friends and family who can send photos to your Skylight.

Next, invite your loved ones to send a photo to your Skylight by tapping the 'Copy Link to Share' button. This will display your messaging platforms. You can also choose to skip this step.
- After that, you're all set. Simply turn on your device, connect to Wi-Fi, and enter the activation code that will be provided to you.
* Please note that the activation code is only valid for 24 hours. If your code has expired, you can easily obtain a new one by returning to the app (see below).
- Tap your device or Skylight email address.
- Next, tap 'Activate Device', and you will receive a new activation code.
