For frames that have been just set up, it can sometimes take time to receive photos as it is still establishing a connection to our server.
If you are still not receiving photos after a few minutes, please try the following:
- Confirm you’re sending to the correct Skylight email address. Sometimes there’s a typo.
- You can check your Skylight email address by tapping the screen, going to “Settings” → “How it Works”
- You can check your Skylight email address by tapping the screen, going to “Settings” → “How it Works”
- Confirm that you’re sending to _______@ourskylight.com. You may have accidentally sent to an address ending in '@skylight.com' or '@skylightframe.com,' which are not correct.
- Confirm that you’re sending photos as an attachment and not as a link.
- Try sending photos from a different email account or device.
- Try resetting your frame, as well as reset your Wi-Fi router.
- Unplug the power adapter of the frame (while it is on) for a couple of minutes, then plug it back in.
- Unplug the power adapters for your Wi-Fi router and modem for a couple of minutes, then plug them back in.
- Try moving your Skylight closer to your Wi-Fi router, as your signal may be a bit weak for Skylight to detect.
- Try using another network or a hotspot.
