You may access the MAC address of your Skylight by following the steps below.
Please note: This will not work unless the device has been connected to Wi-Fi at some point. If you do not have Wi-Fi but you have a phone hot spot that you can connect to temporarily, please do so before following the instructions below.
For Frame: You can follow these instructions below to find the frame's MAC address
1. Tap the screen, then go to "Settings"
2. Then go to "Wifi"
3. On top of the list of WiFi networks, check the MAC address by tapping the "i" icon next to "Wi-Fi".
If the frame displays MAC: null, it is an error. A way to resolve it could be to temporarily turn off the MAC-filter on the router, connect the frame and see its MAC address in a list of connected devices. Then you'll be able to record that MAC address and restore the MAC-filter.
For Calendar: You can follow these instructions below to find the Calendar's MAC address
1. Tap the screen, then go to “Settings”
2. Then go to “How it Works”
3. Check the MAC address in the lower left corner.
If the frame displays MAC: null, it is an error. A way to resolve it could be to temporarily turn off the MAC-filter on the router, connect the frame and see its MAC address in a list of connected devices. Then you’ll be able to record that MAC address and restore the MAC-filter.
