How do I change my privacy settings?

With Skylight, you decide who can send to your frame AND who can view your photos through the Skylight Mobile App or the Skylight Desktop App.

For sending approval, you can choose between the following two privacy settings during activation:

1. Everyone: Everyone with your Skylight email address can send photos to it.
2. People I approve: You will need to approve each person the first time they send photos to your Skylight.

You can also choose between the following two privacy settings during activation:

1. Anyone who sends to my Skylight: Anyone that sends photos to your Skylight frame will be able to view your gallery through the mobile app and online Cloud Portal. 
2. Only Me: You will be the sole user with access to your entire gallery online, and those who send to your frame will only be able to view the photos that they sent. 

To change your privacy settings in the Skylight Desktop App:

1. Go to https://app.ourskylight.com/.
2. Enter your personal email address.
   Use the same email address you used when you singed up with Skylight.
3. Enter your password.
4. Select a Frame.
5. Select the My Skylight Menu icon in the upper right corner to open the settings.
   
6. Select App Settings.
   
7. Select Privacy Settings.

Chose a Who can send photos? setting to control who can send pictures and video to your Frame:

• Select Senders who I approve to limit access.
• Select Anyone to alllow anyone with your Frame's email address to send photos and videos.

If you have selected Senders who I approve, set the Approve senders via textbox to an email address where Skylight should send the approval requests.

Use the Senders can see setting choose what photos and videos senders can see via the Skylight Apps:

• Select All photos if you want all of your senders to see all of the photos in your Frame.
• Select Only photos they have sent  if you want to limit senders to only their own photos.

When you are done adjusting the privacy settings:

7. Select Save.

To change your privacy settings in the mobile app:

1. Log into your Skylight account.
2. Select the frame for which you wish to adjust the privacy settings.
3. Click the settings icon in the upper-right corner.
4. Select 'Privacy Settings'.
5. A prompt will appear asking the following:
   • If you want to set your frame to "Private" or "Open" regarding sending approval. Pick your desired setting.
   • If you want to set your frame to "Anyone who sends to my Skylight" or "Only Me" regarding viewing approval. Pick your desired setting. 
6. Then, click "Next."
7. You can either "Select Friends" to add or block email addresses for sending approval or opt to "Skip."
