How to Approve a Sender

When a Skylight device is set to Private, photos can ONLY be approved through the approval email sent to the account owner. Approval cannot be completed directly on the frame.

If someone emails a photo to your Skylight while it’s in Private mode, the photo will not appear on the frame until the sender is approved.

 

How Approval Works

  • You will receive an email notification when a new sender emails a photo to your Skylight.
  • You must approve the sender using the link or prompt in that email.
  • Once approved, photos from that sender will appear in the frame.

 

How to Block or Unblock a Sender 

To block/unblock a sender, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Log in using the personal email address you used to register your Skylight.

  2. Select your device name.

  3. Tap the settings icon in the upper-right corner.

  4. Choose App Settings from the list.

  5. Select Manage Users.

  6. Approve the sender’s email address.
