Thank you for purchasing a Skylight Calendar!

This article describes Skylight's next generation 15" Calendar, Calendar 2. Calendar 2 went into limited release on our website, myskylight.com in August 2025 and will be generally available in 2026.

Contents of the Box

The Skylight Calendar box should contain:

  • Skylight Calendar
  • Quick Start Guide
  • Stand
  • Wall Mount Plate
  • Mounting hardware
  • Power adapter

Remove the top piece of foam and gently lift the Skylight Calendar out of the box. The stand, bracket, mounting hardware, and power accessories are in the box under the Calendar.

Carefully peel the protective film off of the screen.

Attach the Stand or Install the Wall Mount Bracket

The Skylight Calendar comes with two mounting options:

  • A stand, for placing the Calendar on a table, desk, countertop, or other flat surface in the landscape orientation
  • A bracket, for hanging the Calendar on the wall

This video tutorial demonstrates how to set up your Skylight Calendar with either option:

Calendar 2's design is patent pending.

Use the stand to support the Calendar on a flat surface.

To attach the stand, you will need:

  • a Phillips-head screwdriver

Attach the stand to the Calendar:

  1. Lay the Calendar face down on a clean, flat surface.
  2. Connect the power cable in the back of your Calendar.
You must connect the power cable before installing the stand.
  3. Insert the stand into the back of your Calendar.
Align the notches at the top of the stand with the recesses in the Calendar.
  4. Secure the stand with the provided screw.
Tighten the screw until finger-tight and secure.
  5. Plug the power adapter into an outlet.
  6. Place your Calendar upright on a flat surface, and adjust the stand to set a comfortable viewing angle.

Attach the bracket to hang the Calendar on the wall.

When choosing a place to hang your Calendar, make sure a power outlet is nearby.

To attach the bracket to the wall, you will need:

  • Pencil
  • Tape measure
  • Phillips-head screwdriver
  • Drill
  • 5/16" drill bit

Attach the bracket to the wall:

  1. Use a pencil to mark where you want to put the Calendar on the wall:
    1. Mark where you want the top center of your Calendar to be.
    2. From the mark, measure straight down:
      • 4.5” for a landscape orientation
      • 7.5” for a portrait orientation
    3. Put a mark at the chosen distance for the height of the mounting bracket.
  2. Hold the mounting bracket up to the wall at the mounting bracket mark from step 1.
  3. Use a pencil to mark Hole 1.
  4. Take the bracket off the wall, and drill Hole 1 at the mark using a 5/16” bit. (a)
  5. Insert the wall anchor into the hole. (b)
  6. Attach the mounting bracket to the anchor using an included screw. (c)
  7. Adjust the alignment with the built in level, and mark the other three holes.
  8. Drill the holes at the three marks.
  9. Insert the remaining three wall anchors in Holes 2, 3, and 4.
  10. Rotate the mounting brack down over the wall anchors, and install the remaining screws into Holes 2, 3, and 4.

The mounting bracket is now successfully installed.
  11. Connect the power cable to the back of your Calendar.
Wind any extra cable length around the cable holder in the back of the display, if needed.
  12. Guide the back of your Calendar over the mounting bracket and slide it into place.

Plug the power adapter into an outlet.
