Skylight works best with a Calendar or Frame device, but you can take advantage of Skylight Account features without them. Set up an account with Skylight to explore core Skylight Account features like calendars, lists, and tasks, along with <<link to plus>>subscription features<</link>> that help make running a busy household easier.
Get the Skylight App
Use the Skylight Mobile App or the Skylight Desktop App to create and manage your Skylight Account.
The Skylight Mobile App is available for both Apple iOS and Android:

Download and install the Skylight Mobile App on your phone.

Set Up a Skylight Account
Open the Skylight Mobile App or the Skylight Desktop App, and set up a Skylight Account:
- In the Enter your email to start textbox, type in your email address.
This email address will be used to manage your Skylight Account. - Select Next.
- On the Create Account screen enter your information.
- Select Create Account.
The welcome dialog box will appear on the next page:
Select Let’s get started.
On the following page, select Just exploring the app for now.
Set up a Family Email
When you create a Skylight Account, you must set up a Family Email. The Family Email is an additional email address that you, your family, and your friends can use to interact with your Skylight Account.
Create the Family Email on the Family Email screen:
- In the textbox, enter the name for your desired Family Email.
Choose a name that is meaningful to you, and you would be happy to share with people you know. If the name is taken, you will be prompted to choose a different name. - Select Next.
People who have your Family Email can use it to add events to your calendar and send photos to your account.
Anyone with your Family Email can use it with the Skylight Mobile or Desktop App to view and manage all of your events and photos.
