You can transfer the ownership of a Skylight device (Calendar or Frame) under your account. You may wish to do this if you are giving a Skylight device as a gift.
Transfer Ownership With the Skylight Mobile App
- Open the Skylight Mobile App.
If you have multiple Skylight devices, make sure you are in the Calendar or Frame where you want to transfer the ownership. Press the back arrow to go to the device list screen if you need to select a different device. - Select the My Skylight Menu button.
- Select App Settings.
- Select Transfer Ownership.
- In the Transfer Ownership pane, enter the email address of the device's new owner.
The new owner will be able to determine who has access to the device after transfer. You will no longer be able to determine who has access to the device, but you will still be able to send it pictures and videos. - Select Transfer.
Transfer Ownership With the Skylight Desktop App
- Open the Skylight Desktop App at https://ourskylight.com/.
You may need to log in to the Desktop App. - Select the Calendar or Frame you wish to transfer to another owner.
- Select the My Skylight Menu button.
- Select App Settings.
- Select Transfer Ownership.
- In the Transfer Ownership pane, enter the email address of the device's new owner.
The new owner will be able to determine who has access to the device after transfer. You will no longer be able to determine who has access to the device, but you will still be able to send it pictures and videos. - Select Transfer.
