How do I change my privacy settings?

With Skylight, you decide who can send to your frame AND who can view your photos through the mobile app or online Cloud Portal.

For sending approval, you can choose between the following two privacy settings during activation:

1. Everyone: Everyone with your Skylight email address can send photos to it.
2. People I approve: You will need to approve each person the first time they send photos to your Skylight.

You can also choose between the following two privacy settings during activation:

1. Anyone who sends to my Skylight: Anyone that sends photos to your Skylight frame will be able to view your gallery through the mobile app and online Cloud Portal. 
2. Only Me: You will be the sole user with access to your entire gallery online, and those who send to your frame will only be able to view the photos that they sent. 

To change your privacy settings in our Cloud Portal:

1. Log into your Skylight account at app.ourskylight.com/register
2. For each frame, you will see the privacy settings on the right side. It will say "Open to Public" or "Private". Click on that text.
3. A prompt will appear asking the following:
   • If you want to set your frame to "Everyone" or "People I approve" regarding sending approval. Pick your desired setting.
   • If you want to set your frame to "Anyone who sends to my Skylight" or "Only Me" regarding viewing approval. Pick your desired setting. 
4. Then, click "Save Privacy Settings."
5. Add or Block email addresses for approval.
6. Click "Finish" when you are done.

To change your privacy settings in the mobile app:

1. Log into your Skylight account.
2. Select the frame for which you wish to adjust the privacy settings.
3. Click the settings icon in the upper-right corner.
4. Select 'Privacy Settings'.
5. A prompt will appear asking the following:
   • If you want to set your frame to "Private" or "Open" regarding sending approval. Pick your desired setting.
   • If you want to set your frame to "Anyone who sends to my Skylight" or "Only Me" regarding viewing approval. Pick your desired setting. 
6. Then, click "Next."
7. You can either "Select Friends" to add or block email addresses for sending approval or opt to "Skip."
