Overview
We are updating our calendar syncing to make it more reliable and secure.
If you are syncing your Skylight Calendar with external calendar providers like Microsoft Outlook, you may see an alert that you need to resync a calendar so that syncing will continue to work.
Resyncing affected calendars is a two-step process:
- Unsync the affected remote calendar(s) from your Skylight Calendar account.
This step will not delete the calendar and its events on the remote service. This will only unsync the calendar between the remote calendar provider and Skylight. - Resync the affected remote calendar(s) to your Skylight Calendar account.
After resyncing a remote calendar, you can manually re-add the calendar to Profiles as needed.
Note: If you do not re-sync any affected calendars before June 30th, 2025, they will be automatically unsynced.
Resyncing Affected Calendars
To see if any of your remote calendars require resyncing:
- Open the Mobile App.
- Tap the entry for your Skylight Calendar.
If you see the Action required banner at the top of the Calendar view:
…there are calendars synced to your Skylight account that require a resync.
- Tap Manage calendars.
You will see a list of your synced calendars. Calendars that require a resync will have Action required badge:
- Tap Action required.
The Skylight Mobile app is now ready to manage the process of unsyncing and resyncing your calendar. You will see a screen detailing the steps the Skylight Mobile App will take:
Note: This process will not delete the calendar and its events on the remote service. This will only unsync the calendar between the remote calendar provider and Skylight.
- Tap Proceed.
Skylight Mobile App will remove the synced calendar, and copy the Skylight Calendar email address to the clipboard for the resync step.
With the calendar now unsynced, you must resync the calendar:
